Just trying to ooze some time while studying my china studies paper. Anyway i was walking yew tee point with my brother today and went to eat burger king. After that, he had to go early to camp because he wanted to watch the camp raock at his camp. So I was left alone at the table, curiously not miserable. While I finished up my food, I got out of the shopping centre. Not being shocked, I saw several groups of Indians sitting on the floor. Well yes, it is true. Indians sitting on the floor. I was waiting by a handrail at yew tee bus stop, which bus 302 came by. I decided to write down what I felt about these issues and these are what I wrote. However, it is not totally complete because the ideas which were overflowing out of my mind apparently stopped. here it goes:
The number of people in yew tee is increasing rapidly. there seems to be no boundaries as to the number of Indians in yew tee. Not trying to be a racist here, but the population of Indians in yeew tee is really overwhelming. you see several groups gathering together, sitting at the centre of the road. Some even go to the extent of holding hands in the public. Taking a glance off them, i briskly walked away. In addition, the population of immigrants and foreigners have multiplied. It seems that ever since the construction of yew tee point has majorly completed, these people have brought along their friends and families to yew tee point making it look more bustling. The population of China people in singapore is also really frightening. I really ponder upon all these.
For this I once again repeat myself, I am not trying to be racist or what but it is just that it really seems to be quite a problem in a part of Singapore. Anyway, there are more than meets the eye, who knows that this problem might be able to eventually vanish from the surface of singapore.
While looking at channelnewsasia, i bumped upon the article on Susan Boyle of the Britian's Got Talent. Take a look at the video. Probably, you might be in awe too. Her vocals are good, and I think that she has just carved her name on every country for just one performance. Probably insufficient to become like Princess Elizabeth or Princess Diana, but she can be told to be like the aphrodite or maybe venus, as she has really made an impression of the musics that we heard in our modern day lives. Just listen to this video.=)
